The National Restaurant Association recently conducted a survey on income and expenses for all limited service and table service restaurant.

The following was their conclusion:

1. Limited service restaurants (median average check $6)
   spent between 1.0 and 2.5% of gross sales on repairs and maintenance.
   
   
2. Table service restaurants (median average check $10)
   spent between 1.0 and 2.4% of gross sales on repair and maintenance.
   
   
3. Table service restaurants (median average check $18)
   spent between 1.3 and 2.7% of gross sales on repair and maintenance.
   
   
4. Table service restaurants (median average check $31)
   spent between 0.9 and 2.0 of gross sales on repair and maintenance.
